Graph Auto-Display Max File Length: In the Editor, when you view or enter details for an audio file cue or sub-cue, a graph of the audio file's wave form is displayed. To generate the graph, SCS has to scan and decode the audio file. For a long file this may take several seconds. To improve performance SCS keeps graphing information in the cue file (the .scs file) so that the next time you view a cue or sub-cue for this file, in the Editor, the graph will be displayed 'instantly'.

The Graph Auto-Display Max File Length option only applies to audio files that have not yet had their graph information generated and saved. By default, the graph is auto-displayed if the length of the file is up to 10 minutes. If the length is more than 10 minutes then the graph is not auto-displayed, but a button is displayed enabling you to display the graph 'on demand'. The Editor Graph Auto-Display Max File Length field enables you to set a threshold other than 10 minutes. For example, if you enter 0 in this field then no audio file graphs are auto-displayed.
